Bail of 9 accused in porn case cancelled

Faridkot, Apr 9 (UNI) A sessions court here has set aside the bail plea of all the nine accused in the infamous porn Multimedia Secure Digital Cards (MMSDC) case that rocked Kotkapura town last month.

The police had arrested all the nine accused on March 25 but they were all granted bail by the chief judicial magistrate the next day.

The poice yesterday arrested four of the nine accused as the others failed to turn up in the court. The court remanded two of the accused, Gagan Monga and Charanjit Singh, to two-day police custody while the other two, Rajat Kumar and Kamal Kumar, were remanded to one-day police custody.

DSP Bakshish Singh, a nodal officer in the case, said arrest warrants were issued for the other five accused who failed to appear in the court and the police are looking for them.
