Advani condemns vandalisation of Hindu temple in US

Surat, Apr 9 (UNI) Senior BJP leader L K Advani today condemned the vandalisation of an under construction temple in Minnesota, US.

Mr Advani, in a statement, said he was appalled by the news that a major temple under construction in Minnesota, US, has been vandalised on April 5.

Being by the Hindu Society of Minnesota at Mapple Grove near Minneapolis at a cost of 9 million dollars, the temple was scheduled to be consecrated in June, the statement said.

''I urge the American government to bring the culprits to book and also to ensure that such crimes of bigotary are not perpetrated on religious minorities in US'', Mr Advani said.
