Saree is the most attractive dress: Purandreswari

Hyderabad, Apr 8: Union Minister of State for Human Resources Development D Purandreswari today said that she was most comfortable with Saree, a most fashionable dress.

''Saree is the most attractive dress'', Ms Purandreswari, who inaugurated a seminar on emerging opportunities in fashion and technology, said.

Women wearing a saree always received respect from one and all, the Congress leader and daughter of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N T Rama Rao said, adding that she felt proud and dignified to wear India's traditional dress.

Ms Purandreswari, one of the youngest Ministers in the UPA Governemnt revealed her fascination for handloom sarees, especially those with new and beautiful designs.
