Gang of three, including Bangladeshi,involved in 100 cases arrested

New Delhi, Apr 8 (UNI) Police today claimed to have busted a gang of Bangladeshi criminals involved in more than 100 cases of burglary and theft with the arrest of three persons, including a Bangladeshi, from Sunlight Colony area of South Delhi.

Illiyas (27), Abbas (25) and Mohd Jamaal (52) were arrested yesterday while they had come to dispose off their 'booty', police said today.

Gold and diamond jewellery worth 12 lakh, Rs 52,000 in cash and two knives were seized from their possession.

During interrogation Illiyas said he hailed from Bangladesh and had committed more than 100 cases of robbery, thefts and burglary and had spent more than seven years in jail.
