DSP among four of family members injured in road accident

Dharamshala, Apr 8 (UNI) Kangra Deputy Superintendent of Police, his wife, daughter and son were injured, two of them seriously when the car they were travelling in collided with another car at Mallan on Pathankot-Mandi National highway this evening, police said here.

Des Raj, incharge police post, Nagrota Bagwan said DSP Virender Thakur along with his family was on way to Jogindernagar in a Maruti car when the accident occurred.

He said all the four members of Mr Thakur's family were injured and his 14-year-old son Baba is critical with a head injury.

He said that the DSP himself received multiple fractures.

According to the hospital sources they have been referred to the CMC, Ludhiana.
