Congress demands judicial inquiry into police firing
Ranchi, Apr 8 (UNI) The Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee (JPCC) today demanded a judicial inquiry into the police firing at Bishrampur in Daltanganj yesterday in which two persons were killed.
JPCC president Pradeep Kumar Balmuchu, MLA, condemning the incident, expressed syampthy to members of the bereaved family.
He held the district administration responsible for not providing adequate treatment to the injured persons.
He demanded the government to pay Rs 10 lakhs and a government job each to the members of those killed in the firing.
Mr Balmuchu said the incident was result of the failure and ineficiency of chief minister Arjun Munda to run the administration.
Mr Munda wanted to remain in the power by indulging in communal tension in the state, Mr Balmuchu alleged.
