Police busts gang of cricket bookies

New Delhi, Apr 7 (UNI) Police today claimed to have busted a gang of cricket bookies with the arrest of three people from the staff quarters of a hospital in New Delhi district.

Sanjeev Sharma, Sunil Sachdeva and Devendra Kumar were arrested from the staff quarters of Lady Harding Hospital here for betting on the India-England one day match in Kochi yesterday.

Police recovered a laptop, television set, 7 CDs, 8 mobile phones, 7 memory cards, two calculators and other items from them.
