Delhi govt employee hangs self

New Delhi, Apr 7 (UNI) A clerk of the Delhi Government's Irrigation and Flood Control Department allegedly hanged himself at his Kalyanpuri in East Delhi residence this evening.

Lalita Prasad (51) was found hanging by the family members at about 1800 hrs at his Kalyan Vaas residence in Kalyanpuri area, according to sources.

Prasad, who had two sons (an accountant and a Commerce undergraduate), was undergoing medical treatment at the G B Pant Hospital for the past two years and was mentally disturbed.

No suicide note has been found.
