RBI restricts further investment in ENIL by FIIs, NRIs and PIOs

Mumbai, Apr 5 (UNI) The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) today restricted further purchases in Entertainment Network India Ltd (ENIL) by the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs), Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) and Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) under Portfolio Investment Scheme (PIS) through stock exchanges in India without the prior permission of the RBI.

The RBI stated that ENIL had reached the limit of 18 per cent of its paid up capital.
