RBI restricts further FIIs, NRIs and PIOs investment in ICICI

Mumbai, Apr 5 (UNI) The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) today restricted further purchases of equity shares of ICICI Bank Ltd, by Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs), Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) and Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) under Portfolio Investment Scheme (PIS) through stock exchanges in India.

ICICI Bank has reached the limit of 74 per cent of its paid up capital, RBI said.
