One killed, two women injured in north Kashmir firing

Baramulla, Apr 5 (UNI) One person was killed and two women were injured critically in firing by unidentified gunmen at Azad Gunj near here this afternoon.

Official sources said a group of unidenified gunmen resorted to firing at Azad Gunj near here on the Baramulla-Kupwara road at 1205 hours this afternoon.

One Mohammad Yousuf Ganaie was killed on the spot and two women-- Taja Begum and Jana Begum -- were critically wounded.

The injured were rushed to Srinagar hospital, they said.
