UDF not politically strong to fight LDF: Pinarayi

Palakkad, Kerala, Apr 1 (UNI) The Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) has no political strength to face the CPI(M)-led Left Democratic Front (LDF) in the coming Assembly elections to Kerala, CPI (M) State Secretary Pinarayi Vijayan said today.

Inaugurating the election convention of LDF candidate K E Ismail of the CPI at Pattambi, he said the vote banks of the UDF had collapsed because of inner-party politics and poor administration.

Mr Vijayan called upon the party workers to check all attempts of the UDF to come back to power.

The UDF Government in its five-year regime had put the state a decade behind in development, he alleged.
