Truck driver kills wife and children

Amritsar, Apr 1 (UNI) A truck driver murdered his wife and two minor children at their residence in the sub divisional town of Ajnala late last night, police said today.

According to the police, the alleged culprit identified as Dilbagh Singh used a sword to kill his wife Raj Kaur (32), son Gurmit aged five and daughter Priya aged seven. He later fled the town claiming responsibility for the killings in a note that he left behind.

The police has registered a case of murder against the truck driver who is believed to have fled to Mumbai.
