Sankaralingam appointed chairman MD of NTPC

New Delhi, April 1 (UNI) T Sankaralingam has taken over as Chairman and Managing Director of National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) with effect from today.

According to a NTPC release issued here today, before taking over this new responsibility of CMD Mr Sankaralingam was the Director (Protects) in NTPC. He joined the NTPC in 1977 and prior to that he was with the Tamilnadu Electricity Board (TNEB).
