Lyricist and singer Nita Sen passes away

Kolkata, Apr 1 (UNI) Renowned lyricist and singer of yesteryears Nita Sen died here at her residence today. She was 75.

Family sources said she died of heart failure.

A famous singer of the 50's, 'Ogo Nayoner Abir' is one of her most popular songs.

She had wrote various Bengali songs and worked with renowned lyricists like Gouri Prasanna Majumdar.
