Jewellery shop employee killed, valuables worth Rs 2 lakh looted

Jaunpur, Apr 1 (UNI) Unidentified criminals looted jewellery worth Rs two lakh from a jewellary shop in the Hanumanghat area late last night after killing an employee of the same shop.

Police said here today that armed criminals raided the shop owned by one Javed Ahmad and after killing his employee Rinku and decamped with jewellery worth Rs two lakh.

Three persons have been detained in connection with the murder and loot, police added.
