Fletcher rushes to South Africa with ailing wife

Margao, Apr 1 (UNI) England cricket team arrived here this afternoon for the third one-day international (ODI) against India to be played on April 3, without their coach Duncan Fletcher.

The England team management informed reporters that Zimbabwe-born Duncan Fletcher has accompanied his ailing wife to South Africa, but will be back before the start of the third ODI.

While the entire team flew into this tourist state from Delhi this aternoon, Fletcher rushed to South Africa alongwith his wife from the national capital last night.

The team management, however, refused to divulge details of illness of Fletcher's wife.

She came to India towards the end of the second test alongwith wives and friends of the English players .
