Travelfranchise company ties up with uniglobe

Coimbatore, Mar 31 (UNI) The city based "pricol travels" has tied with "Uniglobe" the single largest travel franchise company headquartered in Vancouver, Canada with 1100 locations in 25 countries.

Talking to newsmen here, pricol travels Manging Director Vikram Mohan said with the increase in competition, it was necessary to have tie up with foreign comdpanies to increase not only their ticket sale but also profit.

He said following the decrease in commission by way of selling air tickets due to competition, it was stying up with a foreign company. The commission would increase by another eight to ten per cent.

Stating that their trading name henceforth will now be " uniglobe pricol travel", he said the travel industry was changing.

His company plans to introduce 28 products for tourism, which include six domestic and 22 foreign tourism packages, Mr Mohan said.
