Sonia, Congress condole Manohar Shyam's death

New Delhi, Mar 31 (UNI) The Congress and its president Sonia Gandhi today have condoled the death of senior Hindi litterateur and journalist Manohar Shyam Joshi.

''Ms Gandhi and the Congress express profound grief over the death of Manohar Shyam Joshi,'' Party spokesperson Rajiv Shukla said today.

Seventy three-year-old Joshi, who became a household name with soap opera 'Hum Log' and 'Buniyad' in the 1980s, died here yesterday after suffering from acute respiratory problems.
