Reliance Infocomm slashes ISD rates by over 60 per cent

New Delhi, Mar 31 (UNI) Reliance Infocomm today slashed ISD tariffs by 45 per cent to 69 per cent for all prepaid and post paid categories.

The ISD rates to the US, Canada, Fixed phones in Europe, Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia have been brought down to Rs 6 per minute from Rs 14.25 per minute under all One Nation plans.

The rates for ISD calls to these countries under all other plans have been brought down to Rs 7.20 per minute from Rs 12.99 to Rs 14.25 per minute earlier.

The rates for calls to the Gulf, Middle East and Africa have been brought down to Rs 8 per minute from Rs 17.25 per minute under One Nation plans. Under other plans, it has been brought down to Rs 9.99 per minute from Rs 19.99 to Rs 17.25 per minute earlier.

''The ISD call rates have now come down below the levels STD rates were a few years ago,'' Mr SP Shukla, President Wireless, Reliance Infocomm, said.
