Reliance Infocomm slashes ISD rates by over 60 pc

Mumbai, Mar 31 (UNI) Reliance Infocomm today slashed ISD tariffs between 45 per cent and 69 per cent for calls to various countries including US, Canada, Europe and Middle East.

The rate change is spread across all plans and schemes under prepaid and post paid categories, enabling Reliance customers to make the cheapest international calls from India, a release issued here said.

The ISD rates to US, Canada and fixed phones to Europe, Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia are brought down Rs six per minute from Rs 14.25, under the 'One Nation' scheme of the company, the release said.

The rates for calls to Gulf, Middle East and Africa are also brought down to Rs eight per minute from Rs 17.25 under the plan, the release added.
