Police arrest 5 in murder of businesman case, 2 absconding

New Delhi, Mar 31 (UNI) After ten days of the murder of a Mongolpuri businessman Police have arrested five people, including the prime accused, from four different places in North-West Delhi.

The arrests of the five were made after more than 100 people were questioned, DCP (North-West) V S Chahal told newspersons.

''Two other accused have yet to be arrested.'' An automatic Webley Scott pistol and the three cars used in the crime have been recovered from them, he said.

''Prime accused Sachin Bansal, who plotted the murder, was also a distant relative of the deceased.'' Among those involved in the murder were a lawyer, a property dealer and a contract killer who received Rs two lakh to carry out the murder.

Interrogations of the accused revealed that deceased S N Gupta, who was shot dead on March 21, had invested heavily with the father of one of the accused, Sachin Bansal, who wanted to share the spoils after killing him.
