Percept wins telecast rights for Abu Dhabi ODIs

Mumbai, Mar 31 (UNI) The telecast rigths for the India-Pakistan two-match ODI series to be played at Abu Dhabi on April 18 and 19 have been bagged by Percept D'Mark.

The winning bid, submitted by Percept's subsidiary PDM Gulf, was 3.61 million dollars and the second nearest was IMG's 3.512 million dollars.

The bids were opened today by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) vice president Lalit Modi.

Commenting on the telelcast rights, Percept Holdings Vice Chairman Harender Singh said, ''It is an excellent opportunity, as we are having Indo-Pak matches on neutral ground after nine to ten years.'' The proceeds of the two matches would go to those affected by last year's earthquake in Kashmir.
