New Delhi, Mar 31 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Chief Secretary Vijay Bakaya has been granted extension in service of two months.

An official release said here today, that Mr Bakaya has been granted extension from April 1, 2006 to May 31, 2006.

The decision has been taken in view of Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad writing to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, urging him to grant the extension.
