Gen Next designers showcase the Lakme Sun Expert Beachwear range

Mumbai, Mar 31 (UNI) Lakme presented its Sun Expert range, a spunky Beachwear range put together by Gen Next designers Bhawna Yadav, Leena Wadhwa, Rahul Mishra, Samar Firdoz and Swapnil Shinde, at the ongoing lakme fashion week here.

Showcasing the range yesterday were models Shivani Kapur, Carol, Gauhar, Guneeta and Sonal.

The Gen Next show, comprising a group of select designers who have never shown at any fashion week, has been created following the tremendous interest generated by the emerging designer initiative.

LFW will help in putting together the first ever professional show for these exceptional designers.

All selected designers will get a complete package comprising of the runway, sets, sounds, lights, models, show director, hair and makeup, and backstage managers at a highly subsidized fee of Rs 10,000.

The advisory board comprising of representatives of key stakeholders from the fashion world reviewed all designer submissions for the LFW and selected the six best designers for the Gen Next show.
