Earthquakes hit west of Iran, 2 dead
TEHRAN, Mar 31 (Reuters) Three earthquakes hit an area of western Iran overnight, the strongest with a magnitude of 6.0 this morning, killing at least two people and injuring dozens more, the official IRNA news agency reported.
Kamran Sabzian, a doctor at a hospital in the city of Doroud in the area where the earthquakes hit, said two dead and 42 injured people had so far been transferred to his hospital from nearby villages, IRNA said. He said the toll could rise.
