Union Panchayat Raj Minister M S Aiyer to visit Sikkim

Gangtok, Mar 30 (UNI) Union Panchayat Raj Minister Mani Shankar Aiyer is arriving in Sikkim today on a three-day visit to the state.

During his stay in the state, the Union Minister is scheduled tour all the four district of the state and attend Gramsabha and Zilla Parishad meetings to get a first hand knowledge about the functioning of the Panchayat Raj institutions in the state.

As per the Programme the minister is scheduled to leave for Delhi on April 2.
