Muslim Institute and Bengal President's XI register wins

Kolkata, Mar 30 (UNI) Muslim Institute and Bengal President's XI registered wins in two low scoring matches at the Beighton Cup here today.

In the first match, Muslim Institute defeated City Scholar Shajhanpur 3-0. Aslam Ali held Muslim Institute shoot into lead in the first half. The lead was butressed by Roshan Doomdoom and Ravi Tirkey.

In the second match, Bengal President's XI defeated Punjab Sports Club (PSC) through a D Kumar goal. PSC squandered several opportunities, losing the tie.

Calcutta Port Trust take on Bengal President's XI tomorrow.
