Punjab resident arrested at city airport with fake passport

Kolkata, Mar 28 (UNI) Paramjit Singh (37), a resident of Punjab, was arrested today after his arrival from Malaysia at the city airport last night for possessing a fake passport, immigration officials said.

Airport officials said after interrogation Paramjit admitted that he procured the fake passport from somebody.

Airport officials tonight handed over Paramjit to local police, who took him to custody.
