Hizbul militant nabbed from Azadpur in North Delhi

New Delhi, Mar 29 (UNI) Police have arrested a Hizbul Mujahideen militant from Azadpur Sabzi Mandi area in North Delhi, who was planning to strike during coming Navratra festival.

Mehrajuddin alias Javed alias Habib 25, an area commander of Hizbul Mujahideen, was arrested late last night by the sleuths of Special Cell, according to sources here.

''Mehraj went to Pakistan for training in 2000 and came back to Delhi via Nepal. Hailing from Badgam in Kashmir, he was presently staying in Delhi,'' Joint Commissioner Special Cell Karnal Singh said.

Two kgs of RDX, a detonator and a pistol were seized from his possession.
