RBI cautions on FIIs holdings in four companies

Mumbai, Mar 28 (UNI) Reserve Bank of India (RBI) today notified that the holdings of Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) under the portfolio investment scheme (PIS) in the paid-up capital of four companies belonging to R-ADA Group have gone below the caution limit, according to an official release.

It will, therefore, be in order for FIIs to purchase the shares of these companies--Reliance Capital Venture Ltd, Reliance Communication Venture Ltd, Reliance Energy Venture Ltd and Reliance Natural Resources Ltd, in the secondary market under the portfolio investment scheme, the release said.

The investments will be subject to the existing ceilings and guidelines in this regard.
