President Kalam leaves for New Delhi
Patna, Mar 28 (UNI) President A P J Abdul Kalam left for New Delhi after winding up his short tour of the state during which he addressed the joint session of state Legislature today.
Bihar Governor Gopal Krishna Gandhi, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi, Speaker of Bihar Assembly Uday Narain Chaudhary and several Ministers were present at the Jaiprakash Narain International Airport to see him off.
During his brief stay in the state, Dr Kalam also spoke at a function organised by the Bihar Chamber of Commerce.
