Nair to take over as CMD of Union Bank of India

Mumbai, Mar 28: The Centre has appointed Mr M V Nair as Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of the Union Bank of India from the date of his taking charge of the post on, or after, April one.

Mr Nair is presently the CMD of public sector Dena Bank.

His appointment is for a period of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier, a notification issued to BSE here said.
