Global media rights of BCCI to open on April 6
Mumbai, Mar 28 (UNI) The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has invited tenders by April 5 for Global Media Rights for a period of five years for all matches that India will play on neutral ground (non ICC member country) outside India.
The media rights will also include the upcoming Indo-Pak Friendship Series in Abu Dhabi.
The tenders will be scrutinised on April 5 here and the financial bids will be opened in Delhi on April 6 between 1400 hrs and 1700 hrs at the Oberoi hotel, a BCCI release stated here today.
The Friendship Series, to be played at the Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on April 18 and 19, is being organised as a fund raiser for the October 2005 earthquake victims in Pakistan and India, the release added.
