CPI-ML to field 39 candidates in Kerala polls

Thrissur, Mar 28 (UNI) The CPI(ML) will field candidates in 39 constituencies in Kerala in the coming Assembly elections, party gentral secretary K N Ramachandran said today.

He told reporters here his party was fielding candidates in these constituencies to provide an alternative to the UDF, LDF and BJP.

The CPI(ML) would extend support to the People's Front candidate in Nattika in Thrissur district and Plachimada agitation leader Mylamma in Chittoor in Palakkad district.

In Kozhikode, it would back Farmers Relief Forum candidates.

State party secretary K Sivaraman and secretariat members P N Provind and A K Asokan were also present at the news conference.
