CBI concludes final argument in Lalu's DA case
Patna, Mar 28 (UNI) The CBI today concluded its final arguments in the Disproportionate Assets (DA) case, an offshoot of the multi- crore rupee fodder scam, pending against RJD chief and Rail Minister Lalu Prasad and former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi.
Special CBI judge Muni Lal Paswan closed the arguments of the prosecution side following a prayer to that effect by the latter.
The judge fixed April 28 as the next date for hearing of defence side.
According to the charges, Mr Prasad amassed wealth valued at nearly Rs 46 lakh, disproportionate to his all known sources of income from 1990 to 1996.
Ms Rabri Devi is charged with the abettment of the offence.
