BSEM employees protest appointment of secretary
Imphal, Mar 28 (UNI) Employees of the Board of Secondary Education, Manipur (BSEM) have launched a cease work strike to protest the appointment of the secretary of the board.
The employees alleged that the appointed secretary is not eligible for the post.
The BSEM employees' union pointed out that the secretary had died and the joint Secretary was discharging duty as secretary-in-charge.
The union members alleged that Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh, who had been urged to appoint an eligible person for the post, is yet to fulfil the demands.
