Bellary records highest temperature 39.1 degree celsius

Bangalore, Mar 28 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded by the weather office at 0830 hours here today.

Dry weather prevailed over Interior Karnataka. Maximum temperatures changed little over the State. They were above normal at most places over Coastal Karnataka and were normal over Interior Karnataka.

Minimum temperatures appreciably fell at most places over Coastal Karnataka; fell at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and changed little over North Interior Karnataka. They were appreciably below normal at most places over Coastal Karnataka; below normal at a few places over South Interior Karnataka and were normal over North Interior Karnataka.

Bellary recorded highest maximum temperature of 39.1 degree celsiu and Belgaum AP recorded lowest minimum temperature of 18.3 degree celsius over the State.

Forecast valid until Thursday morning: Rain/thundershowers likely to occur at isolated places over Interior Karnataka and mainly dry weather may prevail over Coastal Karnataka.

Farmers Weather Bulletin: Light to moderate rain likely to occur at isolated places over Gadag, Koppal and Raichur districts of North Interior Karnataka and Chamarajanagar, Mysore and Mandya districts of South Interior Karnataka and mainly dry weather may prevail over all districts of Coastal Karnataka and remaining districts of North Interior Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.

Forecast for Bangalore city: Mainly clear sky. Maximum and minimum temperature would be around 34 and 21 degree celsius respectively.
