Bail of German rape accused rejected

Alwar, Mar 28 (UNI) A fast track court here today rejected the bail application of MBA student B H Mohanty, accused in the rape of a German research student.

The case was also transfered from the District Judge court to Additional District Judge fast track court today. Police have lodged an application for speedy disposal of the case.

Mohanty, the son of a DGP in Orissa, is said to have flaunted his connections and threatened the girl not to reveal anything about the incident.The German student has been sent to Delhi.

The girl was allegedly raped by Mohanty at a hotel in Alwar.

Mohanty was arrested as he was fleeing by the Inter City Express to Delhi.
