Apple Computer launches 8 new products in India

New Delhi, Mar 28: Apple Computer today (Mar 28, 2006)launched eight new products in the Indian market, ranging from digital music players and lifestyle software to notebooks and Intel's dual-core chip-based systems.

The products include a 1GB iPod Nano (Rs 9,700), an iPod AV connection kit (Rs 6,700), iPod Hi-Fi (Rs 27, 700), digital lifestyle app suite iLife '06 (Rs 4,800), a new iMac featuring Intel Core Duo processor (starting Rs 79,800), a Mac mini (starting Rs 35,500), productivity software iWork '06 (Rs 4,800), and MacBook Pro notebooks (Rs 1,17,000 for 1.67GHz and Rs 1,43,500 for 1.83GHz version).

The products would be available through the company's existing network of distributors and dealers in the country.
