394 units identified as sick unit in J

Jammu, March 28 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir Government today informed the state Legislative Council that a total 394 companies has been identified as sick unit in the state.

The industry and Commerce minister Nawang Rigzin Jora while repying to a question, informed the House that 225 units have been identified as sick in the Valley while 169 of them are in Jammu region.

Mr Jora further informed the House that the government has not provided subsidy or other benefits to any sick unit in the state and no action has been taken against any defauters so far.
