20.5 kg of 'Ketamine' seized, one arrested

Thiruvananthapuram, Mar 28 (UNI) Directorate of Revenue Intelligence arrested one person bound for Colombo and seized 20.5 kg of the drug, 'Ketamine' from him at the International airport here today.

According to DRI officials, the drug, used for sedating animals and valued at Rs four crore in the international market, was found packed in two boxes carried by the passenger.

The passenger, identified as Mohammadali Jinnah (32) from Ramanathapuram in Tamil Nadu, was on his way to Kuala Lumpur via Colombo by a Sri Lankan flight.
