Chennai, Mar 27 (UNI) Former TNCC President Tindivanam K Ramamurthy, who floated his new party ''Tamil Nadu Indira Congress'' (TIC) after he was expelled from the Congress for indiscipline, firmly believed that he would find a place in the AIADMK front, but was today left out.

After launching his party, Mr Ramamurthy had declared that his party was willing to forge an alliance with the AIADMK and waited for an invitation from ''Amma,'' but the much-awaited invitation never came.

When the AIADMK allocated seats to its allies last week, the TIC did not find a place, but Mr Ramamurthy pinned hope that the AIADMK would accomodate couple of his partymen when it released the list of candidates.

His hopes were dashed today as the AIADMK announced its candidates for all the 182 constituencies, it proposed to contest in the elections.

Executing his well-knit plan, Mr Ramamurthy, launched a tirade against the Congress and the DMK early this year, alleging that they were ignoring the Vanniyars.

When he met Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, much to the embarassment of the Pradesh Congress, he was promptly expelled from the party last month.

As if he was awaiting for the decision, Mr Ramamurthy, floated the TIC last month and since then was waiting for an invitation from the AIADMK, which never came.

Another party leader Vijaya T Rajenther, a former DMK MLA and president of Lakshiya DMK also met with the same fate. He had also met Ms Jayalalithaa and offered support to the party, but was not given any seat.
