RJD accuses Nitish government of ignoring minorities
Patna, Mar 25 (UNI) The RJD today accused the Nitish Kumar-led government of ignoring the interests of minorities alleging they were being discriminated in the appointment in government services.
RJD state president of the minority cell Mohammad Nemtullah told mediapersons, ''NDA government was ignoring the interests of officers belonging to weaker sections and minorities''.
He said former RJD MLA Pappu Khan had been falsely implicated under crime control Act.
Mr Nematullah alleged RJD leaders were being victimised while notorious criminals having patronage of the NDA government were moving scotfree.
He said, ''Even a single member of the minority community has not been appointed during the recruitment of 11 Advocate Generals and Government pleaders during the NDA regime''.
He said the party will launch agitations at village level if the NDA government did not mend its ways.
