NSCN (K) cadre killed in clash

Kohima, Mar 25: One cadre of National Socialist Council of Nagaland- Khaplang (NSCN-K) was killed at Mon village in Mond district of Nagaland in an interparty fight, official sources said today.

The sources said cadres of both the factions started firing at each other and in the ensuing gunbattle one cadre was killed.

However, it could not be confirmed if there was any other casualty.

Meanwhile, district administrative officials have rushed to the spot. The situation in the area was tense but under control, sources added.
