Merger with Congress only after consultation: Karunakaran

Thrissur, Kerala Mar 25: Democratic Indira Congress(K) leader K Karunakaran today said his party would not take any decision on the merger of the party with the Congress after the April-May assembly polls, without consulting his party workers.

Talking to newspersons at his residence in Poonkunnam here, after paying tribute to his wife Kalyani Kutty Amma on her 12th death anniversary, Mr Karunakaran said an agreement regarding the merger was signed yesterday in Thiruvananthapuram by the DIC(K) President and the KPCC President.
