Matta named Punjab

New Delhi, Mar 25 (UNI) G S Matta has taken over as the Executive Director of the Punjab&Sind Bank for a two-year term.

Matta, who has been associated with the bank since August 2005, was earlier working with the Indian Overseas Bank.

''Matta rose to the level of General Manager after having worked in various capacities in different departments of the bank,''an official statement said.

The appointment comes into effect from March 24, 2006.
