Manipur boys defeat Assam

Amritsar, Mar 25 (UNI) Manipur defeated Assam in the 16th National Senior Fencing Championship held here today.

District Fencing Association general secretary Nirmal Singh said that in the Foil event Manipur with 15 points stood first, Assam stood second and Punjab and Army were declared joint winner for the third position.

In the Epee event in Women category, again Manipur stood first with 13 points, Assam stood second with eight points for the third position Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir were declared joint winner.
