27 people feared killed in road accident

Motihari, Bihar, Mar 25 (UNI) At least 27 people were feared killed and five others were seriously injured when a bus veered off the National Highway 28 and fell into a ditch near Amodei village under Ramgarhwa police station area in East Champaran district today.

District Magistrate Prem Singh Meena said here that the bus was en route to an eye hospital in Lahan town of Nepal from Siwan when the mishap took place.

He said the bus fell into the 40 feet ditch when the driver lost control.

He said three bodies had been extricated from the debris so far.
