Turtle skin worth Rs one lakh seized, one held

Gorakhpur, Mar 24 (UNI) The police arrested a man from the Gorakhpur railway station here alongwith turtle skin valued at Rs one lakh in the international market.

Police said Chedi, a resident of neighbouring Maharajganj district, was arrested from the railway station last night by the Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel and turtle skin worth Rs one lakh seized, from his possession.

The seized skins have been handed over to the Forest Department Officials, police added.
